If you're thinking about this, my main piece of advice is to be mentally ready for the procedure, as it can be overwhelming. I’m in early recovery from my breast reduction and lift, and I am feeling better than expected. Do be aware of some additional expenses – I had a prescription that cost extra at the pharmacy. A few practical tips: bring a spare compression garment, cotton t-shirts to wear underneath it, and your own snacks. Also, having my mum with me has been pivotal to my recovery, so I'd suggest bringing a companion if you can.

Despite the discomfort, the clinic, the staff, and my surgeon were all fantastic and provided great care.
Monsplaty, Tummy Tuck and 360 Liposuction. My biggest concern going into this was what the recovery would actually feel like. It's not easy. The most challenging part has definitely been the constant tight feeling, which is something to be prepared for. My surgeon used a combination of liposuction and excision. Right now there is still some swelling, so it’s too early to know how my clothes will fit differently in the end. Despite the discomfort, the clinic, the staff, and my surgeon were all fantastic and provided great care. It was a professional and supportive environment, and I'm glad I made the choice to go there.

My main worry before the lateral canthoplasty was asymmetry, knowing how delicate the procedure is, but I can genuinely say my eyes look perfectly matched. It's such a relief. The surgeon and the entire staff provided wonderful care from start to finish. While I'm still in the early stages of healing, the shape is already very close to my goal. The recovery has been manageable. The biggest challenge has been sleeping upright, but that's a small thing compared to the results. I'm so glad I chose this clinic for my procedure and feel very looked after.

My biggest concern was the complexity of replacing my old implants. My surgeon was very honest about the revision's complexity, which was reassuring, and he used Mentor implants for the procedure. I'm still recovering. My coordinator was really helpful and available; she made sure my drains got pulled and got us to our flight home with no stress. All the wonderful gals took amazing care of me and made my husband comfortable also. The shared bathroom outside the rooms made it more difficult, but it is an older building. There were no additional expenses, and the clinic provided a clear aftercare guide.

The procedure covered my full face and neck, and while it's still too early to tell what the final outcome will be, the support has been good. The staff are always easy to reach. I also appreciated that there were no additional expenses. My main advice would be to arrive a day before your operation for the consultation with your doctor, and make sure to tell them what you eat.

Dr. Pak is very knowledgeable and professional. It has been over a week sonce my surgery and see.s that everything is healing well. He prescribed a pack of antibiotics and pain killers for me to take for 5 days. The medication worked great because I was at a very minimal pain. His staff walked me through everything I needed from the US to Korea. I felt confident that I was in good hands and I was. My biggest worry was finding the right surgeon for such a complex procedure, especially going abroad. That fear was completely unfounded. From the start, my Bookimed coordinator, Winnington, went above and beyond, connecting me with a top specialist at Unident in Tirana who provided a very clear treatment plan. The surgeon and staff were excellent. I’m still in the early phase of healing from the zygomatic All-on-4, but I’ve been so relieved to find my speech clarity is already much improved. This process can be daunting, but having that dedicated support made all the difference.

My biggest worry was what the final result would look like. I can honestly say the initial appearance is better than expected. The surgeon used the penile inversion technique, and both the surgeon and the staff have been excellent. Recovery is, of course, a challenge. The catheter is manageable with proper care, and I am following the dilation schedule as instructed, but sitting for long periods is currently very difficult. It’s a real process. For anyone else getting ready for this, my advice is to be calm ☺️ and be happy for the wonderful physical change coming your way!

My main concern going into this was how difficult the recovery would be, and it is definitely a process. The surgeon and staff were supportive throughout. For my extended tummy tuck, they created a new position for my belly button, and my abdomen feels very tight now, which is a good sign. While my stomach is already looking flatter, it's still swollen. The biggest challenge by far is just standing up straight. My advice is to make sure your home is prepared for you to heal and recover in comfort. It really helps. Also, measure yourself before purchasing any faja or compression gear, as the sizes differ so much across different sites.

We’re probably happy.
The process was far more involved than we expected, however, we didn’t know what to expect. We’re probably happy. We didn’t realize that is a rather substantial procedure. The medical testing part takes almost an entire day, so don’t plan anything else on that day. Surgery takes about a half day and you’ll be wiped out the following day as well, so no plans is a good idea. You’ll wear a compression sleeve around your face for over a week, so we packed lightweight, hooded sun, shirts, and that worked well. we had our sutures removed at eight days, but 10 days would’ve been better, so you have to plan at least 10 days after your surgery before you leave Bangkok.

I felt well supported and all of my questions and concerns were always answered in a timely manner. The staff at ID Clinic were approachable and friendly, they attended to my needs and requests immediately during my overnight stay and the days following my surgery. The only thing I am not satisfied with, is the lack of depth of my in person consult prior to surgery, as my breast asymmetry was not properly addressed or discussed. Now, I will likely have to explore alternate procedures at a high cost to correct my breast asymmetry once I am fully healed, which I am frustrated with as I feel this should have been taken into consideration and corrected during my initial breast augmentation surgery. However, I would still recommend Bookimend and the ID Clinic as my overall experience was good.

Her and her team were fantastic.
I had initially gone to Turkey to consult with a dental clinic there. The initial clinic consultation went a direction that didn't want to go to meet my needs. Bookimed was able to quickly arrange more consultations with other clinics and Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital. I really liked the dental staff and the vision/action plan proposed by Bahcelievler. I quickly decided that they were the best option of all my consultations there in-country. Due to the severity of my dental needs, the Chief of Dentistry (Dr. Esma Sonmez) personally took my case. Her and her team were fantastic. She highly recommended the oral surgeon, part of the hospital, Dr. Celal Gondirll. I highly recommend both of them. Mr. Gondirll communicated clearly the game plan, successfully followed through with a well-performed surgery, and was available for after-care. I needed 24 crowns, with temporaries installed prior to the jaw surgery, and permanents installed post-surgery. Dr Sonmez performed all the crowns herself. In all, everything went very well. My hospital medical coordinators, Ms. Rose and Mr. Masoud, did a great job of coordinating the activities, hospital stay, hotel stay, and shuttle services. It has only been about a week and a half post-surgery, but I am very pleased with the results. I'm sure things will only improve more as the swelling subsides in the coming weeks. None of it would have been possible without my Bookimed coordinator, Winnington, quickly pivoting after my initial consultation going south and arranging the consultation with the hospital. An additional point to mention is that Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital was able to perform all the needed services at a significantly cheaper price. Dr. Sonmez is also very conservative in her approach to dental care and was able to successfully avoid 12 root canals that my initial dental clinic consultations had deemed "required." I would strongly suggest adding a consultation with the hospital prior to finalizing any action plan. Thank you!
